LOCAL NEWS GOT KEYS??? We are attempting to update our records of how many keys we have for this building, who has keys and which keys do they have! Anyone who has keys to any door in the church, please note the key number(s) on a friendship card, along with your name (of course) and place it in the offering next time you are here. You do not have to turn them in, just let us know that you have them. PRAYER CONCERNS A boldness to share God's love for all our fellowship. Betty Cross Annie Eversole Mary Addington CHRISTIANS IN THE MAKING All who have reservations to go to the Flying W Ranch are to meet at the church at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 19th. Plan to have a great time! WEDNESDAY NIGHT KIDS EVERYONE COME!!! An exciting Wednesday night actividy is planned!!! Come to Wednesday Night for Kids and help us make adobe bricks for V.B.S. Wear old clothes and prepare to get messy!!! FUN! 7:00 PM on Wednesday!! FUN!!! FUN!!! NOTE: All who plan to go to camp need to fill out and turn in their registration forms - Time is running out! COVENANT SINGERS On Monday, June 26 at 6:00 PM, our Youth will be having a pizza party to welcome "The Covenant Singers" from Northwest Nazarene College. Each person who attends is asked to bring five dollars ($5), which will pay for all the pizza and soda they can consume. At 7:00 PM the Covenant Singers will present a concert, and we look forward to the music and the sharing of testimonies and stories by this wonderful group of college students. Any youths who would like to attend will be gladly welcomed. BRING A FRIEND!!! BAPTISMAL SERVICE There will be a Baptismal Service on Sunday, June 20th in the morning worship service. Baptism is a public profession of your faith in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian and have never made a public profession of your faith through baptism, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you. Please contact Pastor Dennis as soon as Possible. To a Wedding Shower for Aaron Lockhart and Areasha Blue to be held July 1 at 7:00 PM in room 100. For information, contact Dawn Berry. IMPORTANT DEADLINES Articles or information for the Newsletter must be in the church office by noon on Tuesday. Information for the bulletin must be in the church office by 5:00 PM on Thursday. WOMEN'S MINISTRIES The next CRAFT DAY will be held on Tuesday, July 6th. We will meet at Sara Welch's home, 1702 Carson. Bring your work, expecting to enjoy our time together. My thanks to Sara for inviting us. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We are needing volunteers to work in the Nursery for the next two Sunday evenings - June 20 & 27. Please contact Dawn Berry if you can help. YOUTH 411 The youth and I have spent some time together. We've played games, we've played catch, we've had FUN! This past Sunday, though, has been the most intense time we have had together. We talked for two hours about Jesus and his love for us. Pray for us as we grow in Christ |
